The power point presentations on world religions were great! Hope you got to view a couple while at parent teacher conferences. Look for the total package to be aired on You Tube in the future.
The test for chapter 4 will wrap up our studies of cells. After a brief look at genetics, we will examine the various kingdoms in greater detail. Soon we will be extolling the greatness of bacteria.
The 7th and 8th graders have an opportunity to listen to a Holocaust survivor David Faber on Thursday, October 1, at Fargo South. This is an amazing opportunity that the next generation will not be able to experience!
Following are some notes and helps to use when preparing for the country identification quizzes that accompany each unit in geography this year.
1. Be sure to use the UNIT Regional Atlas and not the maps in the reference atlas at the front of the book. The unit maps give you the exact countries you need to know for each quiz.
2. Use any/all of the websites listed below to make studying easier and more fun. Be sure to have permission and note that there may be some questionable pop-up ads that appear. All the sites were up and running in the middle of September provided the URL's are typed in correctly. Have fun and study at the same time!!!!
